No public access is available to any protected application by its URL. Once users are logged in, a unique session ID is assigned that expires when the user logs out, or closes the browser window.
  • Application Access Rights: Access to applications are controlled by the application registry that maps each application to a set of users or user groups.
  • Database Access Rights: Wolfkrow applications store their data in XML databases. Each database is assigned a set of users or user groups that are authorized to access the specific database. This facility is used to prevent unauthorized access to any database. Database authorization can be separately assigned for reading, writing or deletion of objects in the database.
  • Document Access Rights: Each XML object in the database has a further level of authorization for read, write or delete level access.
  • Data Encryption: The final level optional level of security available in Wolfkrow is encryption of sensitive documents by using a private key, thereby ensuring that in case the document is undecipherable to any person with no access to the encryption key.
